I'm afraid they are once again working on the road between Benichembla and Castell de Castells, and the Roads Department is now saying it will be closed until May 2010. So if you're coming to us from the coast, you will have to take one of the alternative routes: through Tarbena to Castells, on one to the other routes described below.

If you're coming from Denia or further north, the best way is to come via Pego and the villages of the Vall de Gallinera and round via Margarida and Beniaia. It's a very pretty route, and the road is in good condition.

If you're coming from around Benidorm, come via Guardalest and along the CV 70 to Benasau. Turn right about 3 km after Benasau to Gorga, and then take the CV 720 through Balones and Benimassot. Turn left 2 km after Benimassot to Tollos on the CV 713.

We used to have signs on the CV 720, but the Roads department of the the Diputación decided to remove them. However, there are signs to the restaurant just as you come into the village of Tollos. If in any doubt, please call us and check.
